Current Projects
Sam is currently working on two novels. The first, written in the vein of Department of Speculation and How Should a Person Be?, interrogates the gap between who we think we are and who we eventually become. The second novel follows a recently divorced woman who, contemplating single motherhood, joins a utopian cult of mothers seeking to remedy the lack of societal support for birth and child-rearing and upend biological notions of kinship.
